Throughout my life I have taught a broad range of subjects including the history and evolution of Jewish ideas, Jewish thought and theology, important historical and contemporary issues through the lens of Jewish wisdom, as well as Torah and Talmud for the sheer pleasure of it.
While I enjoy teaching all these subjects, my heart belongs to teaching Jewish mystical texts, including the Zohar and other kabbalistic works, and the spiritual ideas of Hasidism as found in the writings and Torah commentaries of the Hasidic masters. These works of Mystical Judaism invite us to explore and enrich our own spiritual lives.
For me, teaching is an invitation to others to journey with me as we together explore Jewish wisdom and its spiritual depth. I see what I offer not so much as a class, but as a community of learning.
